One of Japans best known artists. He was a Bohemian artist, rebellious and troublesome through school. He changed his name over thirty times. A reason for this could be that he likes to change his persona for different events/projects, or it could be a way of using a mask?
From looking at Hokusai's work i can see he is inspired by nature, fashion and cultures.
